Change

The past few days have been spent in a whirlwind of activity.
Leah and I are headed out for an extended trip.

I look to the hills…
From whatever posture my heart can take
from there my Help will come…

Your weariness -
might be the greatest weakness
that God redeems -

Every good and perfect gift
Comes down from the Father
of Heavenly Light…

When the sun comes up -
Satisfy us, Lord…

Purify
Sanctify
Make holiness arise…

Dearly Loved ~

Learning to truly love -
begins with the CROSS

Because when the message of the Cross -
precedes our every step…

LOVE becomes a response not a duty.

“I pray because
I can't help myself.

I pray because
I'm helpless…”

“Lord, may nothing come
in the way of me… hearing
Your HOLY whisper.

Teach us, Lord…
How to not grow weary.
How to lift our eyes up to the hills -
even while our feet are stuck -
knee deep in the mud.

There is wonder found
deep in the bowels
of the compost pile.

A place of intense breaking down
of all that was…

For those of you who are weary
tired and worn down thin…

Weeping in grief
Hungry for more
Desperate for peace

Let us remember together
in case we might forget…

Can you trust your heart
to the Heavenly Maker
of Heaven and of Earth…

Who never changes in character …

The Sun rises each day
A reminder of grace.

Faithful
True
Steadfast
Unchanging

Somedays we wait
as shadows fall…

The First Rung of GRACE

No matter how far up we climb …
There’s always that first rung to conquer.

And that first rung is always about GRACE.

To the one whose heart is broken
The one, weary in doing good
To the one for whom all hope seems lost

I am come…

During the last year of her life, my mom would often say,
“We’re going to get through this. It will be ok…”

In a lowly manger, He lay…
Because, we could find no room for Him.

And still He loved us…
And made room for us.

Remember the loving kindness of God -
It is GRACE that provides and protects.
WISDOM who illuminates the dark.

It is HOPE that propels us to share the Good News of our INHERITANCE… to the least of these

It changes everything…
