Wisdom for the Heart

Teach us, Lord…
How to not grow weary.

How to lift our eyes up to the hills -
even while our feet are stuck -
knee deep in the mud.

Strengthen us, we pray…
according to your wisdom.

Bind us to your heart…
that we would bear fruit -
at the right and proper time.

Watch over us, we pray…
Watch over us, we pray…
Watch over us, faithful Father,

This is how we pray.

“Our Father, who dwells in Heaven
Holy holy holy is your name.

Your kingdom come
Your will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.

Provide for us this day -
Our daily bread

And…

Forgive us for our sins
in the same way,
We forgive those -
who sin against us.

And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom
and the power
and the glory

For ever and ever…”
