The Obedience of Quiet Praise

Can we discipline ourselves to remain fixed on Christ - the author and finisher of our faith?

Fixed on Him - not our feelings.
Fixed on Heaven - not things here on earth.
Fixed on the eternal.
The immortal.
The One True God.

Because when we fix our gaze on Him alone -
we become rooted.

Down in the deep places.
The important places.

And we become:
Unshakable
Immovable
Undeniably secure

And from that quiet place
comes quiet peace…
and quiet peace produces -
quiet praise…

And quiet praise is a journey.

A journey rooted in faith
and fixed on Jesus Christ… not feelings.
