Day Three - Jan 3, 2019

I have spent my day arguing... quietly and firming. From 8:30am until 5pm with the bright spot of studying oxygen and carbon cycles within different ecosystems mixed somewhere in the middle.

Arguing that my son exists to Capital Blue Cross and should, therefore, be covered for medical expenses. Arguing with the nearly bankrupt Sears company as to the contractual definition of the word “comparable...”

With every spot of grace left within me, I ferociously held on to the awareness that there is never the option to be rude or disrespectful. What we sow... we will reap.

So thankful, tonight, that I never feel the need to prove my existence to God, my Creator. I am covered and provided for by His grace. I am so grateful that I never need to consult a legal dictionary before approaching God for fear He defines words in ways that are not to my benefit. He is always standing near, ready to explain and validate.

And how sweet is our little Nellie who faithfully rides along to share in nearly every part of our day... Faithful. True. Loyal. Love.
