As a busy mom of three with active lifestyles, I spend most of my days attuned to the voices and needs around me.

Not every day is gloriously beautiful... just as not everyday is weary and full of trouble.

There are some days when my role as mother, wife, teacher, friend, daughter, sister, neighbor, etc overlap and become a tangled web of chaotic mess.

I am the proud mom to three teenagers and a purebred German shorthaired pointer. My days are filled with the typical busyness of most families.  Almost every morning and some evenings, whether I’ve slept well, eaten yet, or finished my morning coffee, I find myself trekking through our local park whether I feel like it or not. 

It’s March here in Pennsylvania which means that the snow is almost completely melted, everything is saturated, water is running in every crack and cranny… and our little white dog is perpetually splattered in mud.
