How to see evil times.
Hard times.
Unspeakable times.

Times we don’t understand
Times we wish for a different way
Times we want to run and
you ask us to stay…

Teach us, Lord
to look at the Cross -

On that evil despicable day
when all went dark and -
evil appeared victorious…

Like a stampeding, triumphant villain
marching over broken hearts…
Broken dreams
Broken lands

Teach us, Lord
How to see evil times.
To remember that in the darkness -

The CROSS SETTLED the score!

In the darkness of the tomb
God, Himself, wrestled
for the hearts of His own -

Your heart
My heart

Shrouded in death -
Destruction
Torment
Injustice

Hope was born!

In this dark space of
hopelessness -

This dark place of
defeat -

This dark space of -
“If possible, take this cup
from me…”

Our REDEMPTION was won!

Today, dear friends…

REDEEMED
BELOVED
CHOSEN
MARKED
SEALED
HOLY ones -

May we rest in this God!
This Way-maker!
