Day Five - Jan 5, 2019

There is something magical in the moments just as the rain has stopped falling after a cloudy and dreary day and the sun begins to peek from behind the blue skies...

Today, just as we pulled into a tennis tournament at Lehigh University... we had one of those magical moments... the roads, still wet, reflected the majestic pink and blue skies off the roadways and puddles...

These atmospheric shifts remind me of the few precious moments just after a long, good cry... when all the pent up emotions of anticipation, dread, worry... have passed and our bodies finally agree to follow our minds and hearts to a place of release and surrender. 

There is something precious, raw, sacred, and innocent in the closing of one chapter and the opening of another. A moment in which we have come to terms with the present and we are ready to embrace the future. 

As we each experience these moments throughout our life, I pray we can see them as treasured pauses to take inventory of what we are carrying... give thanks for lessons learned and embrace a sense of excitement for a new season...
